The National Property Team requires a Property Assistant - Technical Services, to support the ongoing development and implementation of National rollout projects across stores and RDCs in the GB / IE Aldi Estate.
The candidate will be required to provide operational and administrative support to the Technical Services team including taking responsibility for the administration and delivery of projects, maintenance and the realisation of cost savings through the development of our store specification.
The role requires experience in an administration role whilst experience in either project or maintenance roles would be beneficial. Strong inter-personal and communication skills are also required as the role involves regular engagement with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your New Role:
- Provide a comprehensive and professional support service to the Director
- Provide organisational and administrative support to the Director and wider teams
- Ensure the security of any documentation and electronic data in the area of responsibility
- Maintain appropriate backups and logs for data
- Arrange and manage the Director’s meetings, including agendas and minute taking
- Is responsible for all regular departmental reporting and ad hoc reporting requirements
- Is responsible for all regular and ad hoc financial planning and reporting requirements
- Is responsible for the onboarding process for new starters
- Is responsible for cascading relevant information and communications to the team
- Checks and processes invoices for services and equipment in the area of responsibility following Company Procedures
- Ensures that all departmental trackers are accurate and up to date
- Maintains an efficient and well organised filing system

- Power BI/Tableau/Smartsheet experience
- Experience with Building Management Systems and/or ALDI’s Remote Monitoring Software
- Familiarity of ServiceNow (ALDI’s Project Management Tool)

- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, able to communicate clearly and confidently to have a positive influence on others

About You:
- A-Levels or Equivalent Qualifications
- Strong GCSE’s in Maths and English or Equivalent Qualifications
- Office management / Office administration / PA duties / Budgeting / Negotiation
- Contract and supplier management
- Building strong internal and external relationships
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot-tables)
- Strong numerical skills
- Data Analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Diary management
- Strong written and communication skills
- Detailed orientated
