“Find your role”.
We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven SEO Co-ordinator to join our team on a fixed-term basis to play a key role in improving and optimising our organic search rankings. Working within the Online Proposition team, you will drive the technical and strategic roadmap for SEO on George.com.
- SEO Strategy Development: work with our third-party agency to shape the annual roadmap based on business priorities and seasonality.
- On-Page Optimisation: Conduct thorough keyword research and optimise on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, header tags, images, internal linking, etc.) to enhance website SEO.
- Content Optimisation: Collaborate with content teams to ensure content is SEO-friendly, including keyword integration, readability, and structure.
- Technical SEO: Perform audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as site speed, mobile optimisation, crawl errors, and more.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Search Console, Google Merchant Centre, Pi Datametrics and Adobe Analytics to track, analyze, and report on SEO performance.
- Share: Be the primary point of contact for any SEO-related queries and be proactive at sharing insights and performance analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all areas of the business to implement SEO recommendations effectively.

- Proven experience as an SEO Executive
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Experience in tools such as Google Search Console, Pi Datametrics, etc.
- Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident in project scoping and planning
- A flexible, confident and tenacious attitude with strong influencing skills.
