We are working with a well-established and highly respected electrical wholesaler that is looking for an experienced Branch Manager (Profit Centre Manager) to lead their Watford branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven and hands-on leader to take full control of a successful operation.
You will be responsible for maximising profitability, driving sales, and leading a high-performing team while ensuring the branch delivers outstanding customer service and operational excellence. This role offers full P&L responsibility and includes a profit share scheme, giving you a direct stake in the branch’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development – Drive growth, identify new opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Team Leadership – Manage, mentor, and develop a motivated team to achieve targets.
- Financial & P&L Management – Control budgets, margins, and costs to ensure the branch operates efficiently.
- Profit Share & Growth – Take ownership of financial performance with a direct reward for profitability.
- Stock & Supplier Management – Oversee stock levels and maintain excellent supplier relationships.
- Customer Service Excellence – Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
- Operational Compliance – Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of electrical wholesale experience – Essential.
- Proven managerial experience – Previous branch or sales management experience in the electrical wholesale sector.
- Strong commercial acumen – Ability to drive profitability and make strategic business decisions.
- Excellent leadership skills – A track record of managing and motivating successful teams.
- Sales-driven mindset – Passionate about business growth and customer engagement.
- Industry knowledge – Strong understanding of electrical products and market trends.
