We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Buying Assistant to support our Buying Team on the Home Décor category. The category covers Home Accessories, Lighting, and Frames.
You will support the Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes and liaise with suppliers to ensure that they keep to deadlines and tasks. You will Impute into decisions on ranges and promotions and answer and resolve store/supplier queries.
Other important tasks include raising and reconciling of internal and external invoices to the category and assisting the Buyer with competitor research and the day to day trading of your category.

- Previous experience in a buying role is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work accurately and at pace
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Passion for product and staying up to date with industry trends
