As a Campaign Lead, you’ll be an integral part of the team, responsible for delivering campaign creatives and working with our Channels & Delivery team to ensure that the delivery of your campaigns really hits the spot! Your New Role:
Campaign Planning & Management:
- Lead the planning of campaigns, including setting targets and reviewing the accuracy and performance of these plans.
- Manage planned and ad-hoc campaigns, aligning with strategic goals.
- Oversee strategic and creative activities from briefing to execution.
- Take ownership of the campaign budget for cost-effective ROI.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders for transparency and alignment.
- Optimise the campaign briefing process to ensure all key messages are communicated effectively and that KPIs are met.
- Work closely with the Channels & Delivery team to ensure all campaign briefs are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Track and report KPIs to assess success and spot improvement areas.
- Use data-driven insights to optimise performance and ensure desired outcomes.
Product Selection & Creative Review:
- Collaborate with our National Buying teams to select the right products to feature in your campaigns.
- Review and approve creative ideas and media plans from partner agencies and internal teams, ensuring they align with campaign objectives.
Business Culture & Efficiency:
- Develop and sustain a business culture focused on efficiency, control, and effectiveness within the team.
- Ensure that all team members are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and work collaboratively to achieve them.
- Champion the brand’s purpose and ensure that all marketing activities are consistent with our brand values and guidelines.
- Maintain the integrity of the Aldi brand across all campaigns and ensure that the brand message is communicated effectively.
Team, Agency & Partner Management:
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
- Manage relationships with agencies and partners responsible for Aldi’s iconic campaigns, ensuring all deliverables meet the company’s high standards.
- Collaborate with external partners to develop innovative and effective marketing strategies.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and international colleagues to continuously improve marketing strategies.
Strategic Alignment & Innovation:
- Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with the company’s global objectives and contribute to overall business success.
- Demonstrate significant experience in developing and executing effective marketing strategies and partnership concepts within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Use industry expertise to drive innovation and ensure all marketing activities are at the forefront of industry trends.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: campaign planning, brand management, or a similar role, ideally within retail or FMCG.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders, including marketing, product, digital, creative teams, and agencies.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement marketing plans aligning with business goals. Write briefs and oversee campaign execution.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to inform strategies, optimise campaigns, and provide continuous improvement insights.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Creative & Strategic Balance: Combine innovative content ideas with data-driven decision-making, supporting creative and strategic activities.
- Adaptability: Proactive and flexible in problem-solving and decision-making in dynamic environments.
About You:
- Highly experienced in campaign planning, brand management or a similar role, ideally within retail.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with overall business goals.
- Experience in writing comprehensive briefs and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional skills in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, product, digital, and creative teams, as well as agency partners.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of multitasking.
- Clear communicator.
- Ability to work independently and part of a wider, growing team.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Interest in creativity and innovation.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes and challenges.
What you'll get in return:
- Starting salary £47,045 rising to £51,635
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
