Prescriptions, Services, and Asda Online Doctor. You'll work closely with a wide range of teams, from internal Asda colleagues to external pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and top brands, to create a seamless, customer-first experience that will set Asda apart in the marketplace.
While experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus, it's not essential. What matters most is your curiosity, drive to innovate, and commitment to self-development. As a Buyer, you will work collaboratively with key suppliers, wholesalers and with internal stakeholders alike in order to deliver sales cash and volume, pricing and growth ahead of the market while helping to manage the category P&L.
You will negotiate and deliver business plans as well as understand customers and implement strategies that meets their needs. You will also need to understand, track & negotiate around key commodities and deliver cost to serve/buy 4 less programmes with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.
You will be developing own label range along managing broad branded medicines portfolio, always aiming to be first to market, right on trend and offering great value to our customers and patients, through managing range changes and promo/activation initiatives.
