About The Role

The purpose of the Warehouse Team Leader is to manage and lead a team of people to achieve laid down objectives for a specific area of the production facility which leads to overall achievement of the site and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking responsibility for the output of a specific team
- Being accountable for the quality of the work produced
- Managing all Health & Safety matters in their area of work
- Being accountable for staff management, performance management / absence management / recruitment / retention / discipline / Team Briefing
- Being Responsible for resource planning and utilisation including budgetary planning and control.
- Ensuring customer service levels are maintained and improved (internal / External customers)
- Responsibility for training and staff development
- Providing cover and cooperation with all other departments of the ACC

The ideal Warehouse Team leader will be/have:
- Working knowledge of production processes
- Staff management competence
- Basic IT skills, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Literate and numerate
- In depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
