Control Valve Services (CVS) is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping and developing the company's financial and operational systems, with a focus on Xero accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties:
Control cashflow and expenses.
Manage VAT, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Assist with budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Support Directors, Managers, and external accountants.
Maintain compliance in all accounting systems and audit requirements.
Operational Support Duties:
Assist Managers and Directors with administrative tasks.
Set up new suppliers/customers, handle preauthorization checks, and negotiate credit terms.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
Oversee project tasks, purchase ordering, and shipping logistics.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience with Xero, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.
Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
