Our client, a leading wholesaler, is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join their growing team. This role blends purchasing, sales support, and administrative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Buying & Procurement:
- Source and purchase products at competitive prices to maximise profitability.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Sales Administration:
- Process customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry and timely fulfilment.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotations and maintaining CRM records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Data Entry & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date records of supplier and customer transactions.
- Generate reports and assist in data analysis for purchasing and sales decisions.
- Ensure all documentation is organised and easily accessible.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in sales administration and buying/procurement, ideally within wholesale or a fast paced environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and working with spreadsheets or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team and independently.
